Preparing to go Vertical

Foundation work for the building addition is making strong progress as the project continues to move steadily forward. Last week, VanLaan successfully poured the remainder of the west foundation wall, marking another significant milestone in the early structural phase of construction. With that portion complete, crews are now turning their attention to forming and pouring the interior pier pads and elevator pit, two critical components that will help support the building’s future structural systems and vertical circulation.
At the same time, our sitework team continues to work closely alongside VanLaan to keep operations moving efficiently. As foundation activities advance across the site, crews are coordinating excavation, exposure, and backfilling efforts to ensure each phase is prepared and completed safely and on schedule. This level of collaboration has helped maintain momentum and position the project well for the next stages of construction.
The final phase of foundational work will focus on completing the north foundation wall. Once that work is wrapped up, the project will begin transitioning out of the ground and into some of the most exciting and visible phases of construction. Masonry towers will begin to rise, followed closely by the start of structural steel installation, giving shape to the future building and creating noticeable progress across the site.
